360 without HD worth it?

Need some opinions on whether a 360 without a HD TV is worth the upgrade? I have a 36 sony wega crt flatscreen and dont know if that will capture the goodness that is the xbox 360.

what do you guys think?

It's absolutely worth it. To be honest when I've played games on HDTV's the only thing I notice is that everything has jagged edges. Maybe I'm too close to the screen or something, but you definitely don't need HD to enjoy a 360.

You don't need an HDTV to enjoy a 360. I have mine hooked up to a 24" KLH Digital tube and it still looks pretty good

Having played my 360 on both an HD and SD TV, I'd definitely try and see if you can't buy an HD TV as well. While I enjoyed my 360 on both, it just looks so much better on an HD TV. It's not even like you have to go LCD, I have a 32" tube HD TV that I got for a measly 200 bucks used.

Truthfully you won't see jaggies without HD which is nice but the LCD has such a better screen and color etc...
