Keep it simple and just use the basic H2H points scoring.
Hitting Categories
Single = 1 point
Double = 2 points
Triple = 3 points
Home Run = 4 points
Stolen Base = 2 points
Run Scored = 1 point
Run Batted In = 1 point
Walk = 1 point
Pitching Categories
Win = 10 points
Save = 10 points
Strikeout = 1 point
Inning Pitched = 2 points
Complete Game = 5 points
Run Allowed = -1 point
Hit Allowed = -.5 point
Walk Issued = -.5 point
If you compare the stats at the end of the year, i've found that this basic point scoring system tends to favor hitters overall. Raising the Innings Pitched category up to 2.3 or 2.4 points makes things more balanced between the hitters and pitchers.

what do you think the chances of yahoo fantasy offering those options are?
I didn't do yahoo baseball plus last year...so i don't know if it is an option or not
If so i will follow your scoring w/ some augmentations.
Basically last year a lot of people whined when they lost a whole cat point for losing troples 1-0, or when they clubbed 20 hrs for the week and their opponent hit 4, they still only got 1 point.
I need yahoo plus to start sign ups asap so we can get this thing going
a lot of people complain about cbs sportsline's look, and ease to operate...how do u rate it?

Sportsline is by far the best site.
We have been using it for 4 years now and they get better every year in every aspect. Functionality, help, ease of use, stats, you name it.
Worth every penny!!!!
