Esteban Loaiza to the Dodgers

According to FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal, the Dodgers have added Esteban Loaiza from the A's on a waiver claim.

The A's could have insisted on a prospect return and pulled him back if the Dodgers refused, but they instead opted to shed the approx. $8.375 million Loaiza has left on his contract. His addition figures to knock Eric Stults out of the Dodgers' rotation. Dallas Braden could get another shot in Oakland.

I think this is a slight boost to his value. A Under 4 ERA and under 1.30 WHIP are certain for the remainder of the year IMO, with the potential for more.

So what he's saying is , because Loaiza has been on teams that were good (that give him wins) , that is the most important thing to the Dodgers.
