any chance he remains a RP to become Mo's heir apparent?
if not, who gets bumped from the rotation next year, especially considering the yankees have some other quality young pitching prospects?
will the rotation look like:
wang, pettite, hughes, mussina, joba?
I know mussina has been terrible, but he is signed for $10 mill+ next year, so they can't just dump him. And clemens might still want to come back, right? And they still have kennedy, clippard, de salvo, kartsens, igawa, and so on down on the farm...what happens with them?

Yes, I think that's next year's rotation. Moose won't be going anywhere. Should Clemens return, I really don't know what they'll do.
The Yankees spent how much on Igawa? I don't think Mooses's contract will be a factor in determining where he will be next year. Him and Rocket are already showing signs of age this year. It is pretty safe to say one of them will not be effective enough to be in the rotation next year (heck maybe even both). Unless Kennedy gets slap around in the spring, I don't see why it shouldn't be:
Wang, Joba, Hughes, Kennedy, with 5th spot up for contention. Assuming they don't make a trade for a tier 2 SP in the off season.

Um... ANDY PETTITTE? Funny how he always gets overlooked.
The Yankees starting the season with two kids in the rotation is pushing it, three isn't realistic IMO. Mussina will start next season in the rotation.

The post I quoted also had Clemens penciled into the rotation next year and he's only signed through 2007 as well. Pettitte at least has a player's option like Blankman said.
