Rotoworld: Manny Ramirez left Tuesday's game in the seventh inning with an undisclosed injury.
Ramirez appeared to aggravate his back on a sixth-inning single. He stayed in to play another inning of defense, but he was replaced by Bobby Kielty to start the bottom of the seventh. Consider him day-to-day.

BTW just heard on NESN (Red Sox Channel) that he came out bc of back spasms. They are calling it precautionary.

Manny has a strained left oblique. I heard on NESN last night that he could miss up to 10 days bc of it. Not good if you are a Manny owner or a Sox fan.

thank goodness for first round byes. Hopefully he'll be back by the time the 2nd round starts since it sounds like they won't DL him and I won't be able to pick up a replacement.

yes i would release him if u need a roster spot. i will relase him myself if hes not back by nxt week cause i need a roster spot also. francona said anywhere frrom 1 to 2 weeks . many has just not been the same this season.
