SF hasn't had great SPs for the last few years now. Their best pitcher was Ortiz before they got Schmidt. the next 2 SP after him is
Kirk Rueter and now Tomko
Nen was their 2nd best pitcher but now he's hurt so they are going to be in the same boat as Atlanta this year if they win their division.

Jerome Williams is definately worth a close look, especially in keeper leagues. Last season, at the age of 21, Williams went 7-5 with a 3.30 ERA, 131.0 IP, 49 BB and 88 Ks (he started a total of 21 games). Although he does not blow hitters away, he has great control and impressive composure.
I don't get your analogy between the Giants and the Braves trevisc .

I agree.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

I was meaning that both will win their division most likely but both will be knocked out of the playoffs early.
Hummm, I do not see why this claim has much relivance to paulpett's question (particularly on the basis that it would be tough to support without a crystal ball ).
