Bonds to Detroit is an option

There is a lot of talk on sports radio here in Detroit that Bonds to Detroit is an option, as is Mike Piazza. He has cleared waivers and his history with Jim Leyland is a plus. He would be plugged into the DH spot for now to give the team the power bat from the left side that they are desperately in need of. He would be occupying Sheffield's spot until he returns and then would play left field after.
