I think the better question is for Wickman owners - what to do about the guy? Are people cutting ties? In Yahoo leagues is it possible to DL a N/A player?

I think there is a really good chance that he ends up - quickly - in Baltimore. Which kinda sucks because I have Baez as my number two closer...I play in a deep, 14 team league and there are NO closer options out there - this sucks (not that Wickman hasn't sucked lately)...

I think there's a chance he ends up back in Cleveland and takes over the job there. If I was a Wickman owner (thankfully I am not), I would at least hang onto him to see what happens.

I think Cleveland has too many options to make Wickman look attractive, but I can still hope. I am doing just as you suggested - I lead my league in HLDs and ERA right now. Mine is a deep league so there are no closers or first-in-lines for me to pick up. The trading deadline has passed...so while I am screwed for the time being, there is NOTHING better to do than simply hold on to him. I just wish that Yahoo would let you DL a N/A player - I don't think that they do.

Why would Baltimore pick him up? Its not like they're in the race this year. While they are not mathematically out of it yet, they'd need a minor miracle at this point to get in. Why waste the money?

Yeah, I saw that too. Looks like Rafeal Soriano will be the Closer, but not promised it. We need to keep our eyes on this opening because the Braves get their share of win's.

im in atlanta, and honestly soriano has gone through a really rough patch a couple of weeks ago, that lasted a couple of weeks. and all along moylan has been pretty lights out for the most part. personally i can see both of them getting opps at least for the mean time, but hey, you never know whats goin to go on. i didnt really expect them to cut wickman.
