Matsui if he lives up to the hype.

There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.

Reyes and Cintron. Neither played a full year last year and both showed promise.

orlando cabrera gets no love and he produces like a top-3 SS

I like cintron, although I'm not sure the power was for real.
I've got berroa too, I'm not sure what to expect, but he could be a good one.

I don't think you can call Cabrera a sleeper. Most magazines have him rated around the top 5 SS in the league. But if you can grab Cabrera at the end of the 4th or 5th round, even if you already have a top 3 SS, he's a guy that will be great in the utility position and great as trade bait.

He only had 11 games at SS last year so he probably wont qualify in most leagues. I like Mora if he does get in some games at SS, not likely with Tejada. He had an partially torn mcl so that also causes concern. If he is healthy he could be a big pickup in that lineup.

He is not much of a sleeper, but I really think Renteria will another great season

bobby crosby will be playing in his first season this year for the A's, could take a gamble on him. dont expect an explosive offensive player though. Id say he'll probly hit .260, 11 HR, 50 RBI's, 15-20 SB's. but alot of people are talking about him....jus whether or not u wanna gamble on a young guy or not.

I dont think matsui will perform as well as all the hype has made him out to be. Overrated in my opinion.....i dont see how people can rate him soo highly when he has been playing in a league equal to AAA in the US. Cant believe the Mets moved Reyes to 2nd to make room for him......Reyes has a bigger future than matsui, why upset him.

SS seems to really break out into a great or lousy group. It's possible that Chris Woodward or Mark DeRosa could be decent. If Freddy Sanchez gets a chance to play enough, he could get SS eligibility. If Damien Jackson gets a full-time job in COL, he'll have SS eligibility if your league uses 15+ games. Other than that I don't see a whole lot of "good/sleeper" SS.
