with first pick you can go alot of different directions with your 2nd and 3rd picks. LT is the obvious first choice but with the 2nd and 3rd picks you can either go another rb and qb, rb wr, wr wr. with passing td's at 6 pts, i would definitely think about carson at that spot. depending on how the draft goes, getting two top notch receivers at that spot is an option as well. or you can go the safe route and take a 2nd level type rb (mcgahee, benson, jacobs, ronnie brown) and then a wr or qb. you have a really good spot tho. good luck with it and keep in touch during the draft.
Yeah, I'm going to need all the real time help I can get. My knowledge of football is casual at best, so this could prove tough in spots. But, thankfully, it seems like there is a lot more of a formula than there is for baseball - so hopefully Ill be okay.
As I see it, there are a few routes I can go...
Since I'm getting Tomlinson with the first pick, would it be wise to then try and draft top WR's first - and then go back to my 2nd RB/QB around round 6 - (this is the strategy I'm leaning towards)...or should I lock up another strong back, and then worry about WR/QB?
Also, in some cursory readings at the FFC, I read about "handcuffing" - I think I understand the premise, but can somebody explain it in more detail? And what round should I be looking at handcuffing LT?
Draft is almost here ---- any tips on who I should be looking at for the last pick of round 2/first of 3? I'm thinking perhaps Palmer and another RB or possibly a WR? Any names to target? Also - if I miss out on Palmer when has Brady been going?
With your scoring, grabbing a good QB is a must - at 25 ypp at 6 ppTD, Manning > LT, but you should still take LT first. I'd take Palmer in the turn, and another RB.

ince you are getting LT, you really dont need a strong RB2, so I would go with a strong WR like Chad Johnson, Marvin Harrison, or Tory Holt, then get a good QB like Bulger, or McNabb. THis will give you good all around talent, and since you have LT you can get a RB in the 4th round like Julius Jones, Adrian Peterson, or Marshawn Lynch, and your RB talent will still be the same as all the guys who took RBs in the 1st and 2nd round

Really didnt realize it made that much of a difference....so go with Palmer over a WR/RB with 2/3?
