Bonds probably is the most hated guy in sports. But why? He's a saint compared to Michael Vick.
Guess who leads the AL in complete games? Never guess.

Mr. Clutch, David Ortiz, has a .989 ops. But in late & close, he's got a .808 ops, with no hrs and 7 rbis. Guess he forgot his wheaties this year. Where are those clutch lovers when you need them?
Guess who has the most AL hrs in August?
Raul Ibanez
Hughes/Bailey were the poster arms in spring training. I love Lincecum. In a keeper or as a irl gm, i take Lincecum over any of them. Anybody with me?
Why is Clay Buchholz so unnoticed in keeper fantasy leagues?
Arod is the hands down MVP, even if NYY miss the playoffs. Anybody disagree?

When it comes to the AL MVP, Arod comes to mind in a second...Magglio Ordonez is having a fantastic season also...I wouldn't call Arod a lock for MVP if Yankees don't make the playoffs...

If I was a real-life gm, I'd take Hughes over Lincecum pretty easily.

Vick is a scumbag who deserves anything he gets.
Lincecum is the best rookie pitcher on the planet. Hughes and Bailey have a couple of years on him but you can't teach a kid how to throw 98 MPH. As I predicted, his post AS numbers are outstanding:
If not for Hennesey allowing two inherited runners to score last night, then his ERA would be even lower than that. He will continue to get better and as he learns how to pitch, he will become an elite pitcher.

Yeah he's having a good year considering how much pain he's in.
I know most Sox fans hated the Drew deal when it got signed but did anyone picture him slugging under .400? And even worse, Rick Ankiel having 1 less HR than him
- Bonds was the most hated guy in sports, because he's a complete A-hole. Vick is now the most hated man in sports, because he is completely evil. - Totally agree on A-rod. He's far and away the MVP even if the Yanks miss the playoffs (because they'll be very close if they don't make it). This will be the first MVP he deserves. - I think I'd take Lincecum over Hughes in fantasy long term, mostly because he pitches in the NL. In real life... hmmm... tougher call. - Those ignoring Clay Buchholz in keeper leagues are dumb. - Papi is fighting through a nasty injury, plus late-and-close is not quite the same as walk-off/game-winning hits which I attribute more to clutch. He'll be there when the pressure ratchets up.
