feel like his production has stopped a ton.....no HRs in forever, and BA dropping over the past month....

Actually he's batting over .400 over the last week. However, until he hit a couple doubles last night he had gone 10 games in a row without and extra base hit. Even when he does get hits he's usually not scoring any runs or knocking in any runs. So his production really has been non-existent. I've already benched him until he stops with the Jose Vidro impersonation.

Morneau hit his first August homer tonight. He's been swinging the bat better as of late and the Twins as a whole are at least mustering up some offense, so I'd guess he starts to produce more like he was at the beginning of the year.
