What's up with Chris Duncan?

Does anyone have any info on him? He's been getting very limited at bats since Ankiel came up. Is he hurting or are they favoring Ankiel over him?

He doesn't play against lefties.

It's the former more than the latter. The Cards have had the misfortune of playing lots of lefties lately.

Duncan's in against righties. Just keep an eye on the Cards' opponents and you'll be okay.

I'll echo that the Cards have faced a lot of LHP lately. Plus Duncan runs hot and cold. LaRussa will give him extra time off when he hits a rough spot.
