Hasn't been rested in over a year and had bad career numbers against Smoltz.
At least that's what yahoo is reporting.

The Atlanta announcers said Byrnes might possibly pinch hit in the 9th inning when it looked like Wickman was going to implode. I don't think he's hurt.
