How long can you keep a player on DL(yahoo)

I have Hamilton on the DL even though he has been activated. How long can I keep him there?

You can keep him there indefinitely and make players on your team active/bench, but you cannot make any roster moves (i.e. trade, add player) until you drop someone and take him out of your DL spot.

As long as you want. Some people dont think its fair for you to keep him there but it really restrains your moves so it works both ways. You cannot make any adds/drops without activating Hamilton but can continue to make daily roster changes (putting SP's in to start for instance).

Thanks. As of now I don't need Hamilton in my lineup but my league lets you keep a rookie by giving up a 11th round pick. I have Braun but I don't want to give Hamilton to someone else.
