Looks like Reyes won't come even close to Hanley in terms of offense this year. Problem with drafting early a speedy guy like Reyes who has most of his value tied to one category.

as for 40/40 potential someday? he already possesses that "potential" but the 40 knocks will be hard to come by.
hanley will not win the mvp no matter what. even if he somehow gets to 30/50, which he probably will not, the fact that he plays for the marlins eliminates him.
Wait a second, didn't AROd win MVP playing for the Rangers the year they came in last place?????
And more importantly, does Hanley Ramirez become a Top-5 pick next year with stats like this?

One more HR to get to the 30-50 plateau.
He looks to be a lock for the #3 overall player taken on draft day next year. His OPS is 75 points higher than Rollins which is pretty impressive.

He is certainly studly. The one thing that bothers me about him is his shoulder injury and whether it will have any impact in the future.

Isn't he supposed to have surgery over the offseason to attempt to prevent it from popping out?
