Its just sad, because baseball is so numbers driven. Its not like other sports where winning is such a huge factor. These steroid guys are rewriting the record books. No one cares if Bonds wins a world series, he is still regarded as a top 5 player all time.

Every sport is numbers driven. Lyle Alzado. Bonds would have a ring had SF not blown the lead in the 8th inning. Bonds did his part.

does anyone else find it odd that bonds breaks his agreement with the mlb at the same time this investigation is occuring with his personal trainer and boyhood friend .Hmm i just thought about something else since bonds will have testfiy at court and is under oath just ask him then if took roids .

Fact is if people were calling me out and I was so close to breaking Hammering Hank's record I would glady get tested and set the record straight so no-one would question it anymore. What reasons could he have not to answer a question? If it aint roids its antoher performance enhancing substance.

The guy is on the junk, for all the reasons I have previously stated.

I hope this current grand jury will result in a trial so that the public can, at least, get a broader picture of steroid abuse in baseball. Unfortunately, it will never be enough for some of those fans who want to believe in him. These people don’t want to know the truth.

His trainer is distributing the stuff. It was leaked that he has testified that he has taken unmarked supplements given to him by his trainer. Plausible deniability? He and our President have a lot in common.

And thaklanksta, who are you? I assume you are a paying customer, like the rest of us, who isn’t putting down his hard-earned to see a bunch of chemically engineered freaks running around a baseball diamond. You (we) deserve so much better.

I don want to get all Clinton here but it depends on what is considered a steroid. Many legal sustances (supplements and "designer steriods") can have the same effects as illegal steriods.

just look at the guy for god sakes!!! i firmly believe that he started juicing before his record setting year and he is a joke in my mind. all the guy talks about when he is on camera is how he has such great respect for mays and aaron, but he passed mays by cheating and will probably do the same to aaron. i cant believe he can look mays, his own godfather in the eye.
