Shane Victorino (calf) pulled himself out of a rehab game with Double-A Arkansas on Tuesday night.
Victorino felt "something grab" as he tried to run-out an infield grounder. He will be examined by team doctors on Wednesday and won't return from the disabled list Friday as expected.
Damn - this blows

In one of my leagues, I traded him and Rivera for Ham Ram. At the time I was questioning whether it was a good move... Ham Ram got injured that very week. But Ham Ram came back strong, and Victorino got injured shortly afterward, so I lucked out. In my other league, I can't complain about the production I did get out of him, considering that I picked him up off waivers...
All and all, he was someone I picked up off waivers in both leagues, so I can't complain. He was a steal while I had him! Just trying to figure out when its time to cut losses. Guess I will keep him just in case, for a playoff run, since I have the DL spot now. (Knock on wood - hmm. Better not do that, he's pretty fragile. Lol).
Victorino Update - not good... Can I make a request, toast, if your still keeping track of this thread? Can you edit your post, and take out the "not good". Everytime I see it in my inbox I have a heart attack. Lol.
Thanks.
If hes not keeping track, maybe going forward, someone can create another thread for Victorino...
