Good call on Marcum - he's really been great all year. Another guy who's been pretty good is Chad Billingsley: 92.2 IP, 7 W, 92 K, 3.54 ERA, 1.31 WHIP. Still about 4 BB/9, which is horrible, but he's shown signs of starting to pitch better than he did last year. If he finishes the year strong, he could be ranked fairly high going into next year.

Also, Chipper Jones has stayed surprisingly healthy. He's at .337, 19 HR, 66 RBI, 73 R, 5 SB.

Eric Byrnes may have received some more attention, but I still can't quite believe it whenever I look at his statline: .300, 18 HR, 67 RBI, 74 R, 31 SB. OPS at .858.

and you look at the pace his last couple weeks have gotten him to:

and it's what anybody would've been expecting when they drafted him...he's still solid in my book

im pretty sure anyone who drafted him was banking on a .295-.300 avg at least. especially hitting between jeter and arod most of the year.

Really? If that's all people were expecting, then why the hell did he go in the third round in most drafts?
