hmm, I'm wondering if the knee isn't quite right that Jason won't have the big comeback season at the plate...
I am debating keeping him in my 12-team h2h league where you keep 4 players....

He'll probably carry the same injury risk from here on out as well. Anyone who thinks he'll hit even .300 ever again is foolish.

Well Lofton is the "BOSSES" guy, so I think that Williams is the odd man out in N.Y.

I don't think Williams will be the odd man out because he is so beloved in NY and he is one of the few "real" Yankees the team still has left.
As far as Giambi goes, hey, I am a die-hard Yankee fan, so I really hope that he does prove me wrong. But, he's 33 and I don't think his knees will leave him alone.

I’m not worried about the depth of the Yankees. Anyone that does so is just trolling for reasons to predict the Yankees’ demise. Any team in the league would gladly love to trade their problems with the Yankees’ problems.
As for Giambi as a fantasy prospect, the story will obviously devalue him. But, if I can steal a guy who will still hit 35 hrs and drive in 100 in a later round, I’ll pounce on it.

And it looks like that would open up the leadoff spot for Soriano...at least part of the time...

Three way Platoon???? no, its a two way platoon between Lofton and Williams. What are you thinking?

I cant believe I agree with stabon but he is right...There is no way Giambi is going to be plattoned on any team except an MLB All Star team.
