Smoltz - safe to start this week?

listed as questionable for 8/14 start as of a few days ago - can't find anything new anywhere.

Scheduled to start 2x this week.

I heard him last night during the ESPN game...talking about Tiger and some bet he has with him.

He's good to go. I think he'll be questionable from time to time but pitch anyway.

I haven't heard anything about him not pitching this week!! Where did you get this info? He actually threw on the side before his last start, so his shoulder must be improving!!

Injury Report from 8/9: "Back - Questionable for Aug. 14 start vs. San Francisco"

I figured it was not an issue but had not heard an update. Nothing sucks more than a "questionable" turning into a "will not play" just after weekly lineups are set.

He's a pretty safe start right now. I have a feeling that if the wheel's fall off and the Braves fall out of contention he will miss some starts though.
So as a Smoltz owner, go Braves!
