Time to give up on Andy Marte?

I don't follow minor leaguers all that closely other than checking out the rankings and opinions before my minor league draft each year. I just took over a dynasty league team though and have Andy Marte on my roster. My initial thought was that anyone with a pulse would be better in that roster slot...am I right or does Marte still have some potential that qualifies as more than a glimmer of hope?

I gave up on Marte about the same time the Braves did. I think I have always trusted Schuerholz a bit much with his trades, but following his path on that trade has seemed to be the right thing so far.
