I drafted Brandon Webb in the 5th Round(Pick 48) in my Yahoo Roto draft this year. I have to say I got a hell of a value!
In his last 4 starts, Webb has pitched 32 Innings and allowed ZERO E.Runs. During that time frame...Webb has allowed just 21 Hits and struck-out 29 batters. My God! His last 2 starts have been Complete Game Shutouts. I think we are looking at the Cy Young winner for the National League for the 2nd straight year! I'm calling it right now.
Only a month ago you were probably calling Webb a wasted draft pick like everyone else because he wasn't even coming close to ranking near where he was drafted. This roll he's been on has been amazing but lets not forget his first half was not Cy Young like. Who knows maybe this will continue and he'll be the one with a Johan Santana 2nd half; he's got an ERA and WHIP around 1.00, maybe slightly less, over the last month. However, the point is he wasn't anything overly special this season just a month ago, so it's kind of early make such bold Cy Young claims.

A few weeks ago I traded Ortiz and Buerhle for Webb and Hafner thinking I wouldn't lose much offense by just switching to Hafner, but would gain tons of pitching. Well Webb's been all I wanted, but as for Hafner

I don't think its too early to make "bold Cy Young claims" about Webb.
He did win the award last year didn't he??? A streak like this by the reigning Cy Young winner gives us plenty of reasons to start talking about a repeat.
Wow! A 3rd consecutive shutout and this time vs the potent Braves offense (3rd most runs in NL). I think now the Cy Young talk regarding Webb can be considered legit, especially with Zona leading the western division.
