Don't be insulted, we've all done 6 team leagues before. Just get more people and get a nice 10 or 12 teamer next season. ;-D

i met a friend in class who has a league, and we will merge leagues next year and make it a keeper league too.
this year is just practice. but it's still very very close and very competitive between me and the 2nd place team.

I don't know about you guys, but smaller leagues can be fun sometimes. Yes, luck is a huge factor the less teams there are, but it's fun. Definitely if you want to become more serious 10-12 team leagues are the way to go, but small leagues are pretty entertaining sometimes.

But back to Jason Bay. I bet he'll end up with a line of .260/25/95. Not worth it for where he was drafted this year, but he won't be a bust next year, because he'll just go where he SHOULD have gone this season.

Bay's always been a big swinger, so he strikes out a ton. Problem is that he also used to have a good eye and would work for a lot of walks. It's the latter-half of that skill set that has done the disappearing act this year.

Another interesting problem of his is in his LD%:

Look at that thing drop! He's either just not seeing the ball, or he's forcing himself to swing at stuff he shouldn't be swinging at. Either way, he's not himself right now. I think a change of scenery is what he needs, and the Pirates would be smart to trade him while he still has any trade value. That probably won't be this year, but it could be this off-season.

Interesting charts Woodsy. Sure seems like he is having trouble picking up the ball and making solid contact. :-?
