from my fantasy league, CBS....
The Colorado Rockies called up Ian Stewart from Triple-A Colorado Springs on Saturday and placed infielder Jeff Baker on the 15-day disabled list. Stewart was scheduled to make his major league debut against the Chicago Cubs, starting at third base. "We're bringing up a guy that's done a good job and has some barrel to his bat," Rockies manager Clint Hurdle said. "He's been on a nice run, and he seemed to be the fit for the time. Whether the opportunity is short or long, we'll figure that out as we go along."

FANTASY ANALYSIS
The 22-year-old Stewart was hitting .304 with 15 home runs and 65 RBI for the Colorado Springs Sky Sox. His path to the majors has been blocked by Garrett Atkins and Todd Helton, but he is one of the team's top prospects. Atkins is on a roll right now, so Stewart will have a hard time stealing at-bats from him. Helton is nursing an injury, but it is not serious. Consider adding Stewart in deeper NL-only and long-term Fantasy leagues.
