Seattle, WA (Sports Network) - The Seattle Mariners agreed to minor league contracts with pitcher Terry Mulholland and outfielder Eric Owens on Tuesday.
Mulholland, a veteran left-hander, played last season with the Cleveland Indians and posted a 3-4 record with a 4.91 earned run average. Over his 17- year career, Mulholland has also played with the Giants, Phillies, Yankees, Cubs, Braves, Pirates and Dodgers.
For his career, Mulholland, who will play the 2004 season at the age of 41, has a career record of 119-131 with a 4.37 lifetime earned run average.
Owens was in the outfield for the Anaheim Angels last season. He batted .270 and drove in 20 runs.
