Those are exactly what you need to burn the DVD. Do you have DVD burning software? Anyways, to burn a DVD it needs to have an AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folder. The audio one stays empty but the video one should contain the BUP, IFO, and VOB files. Without knowing what software you have I can't really explain it past that, but it should be straightforward within whatever program you use.
Now when I play the burned DVD on my laptop, it plays flawlessly, sound and all. But it has no audio on my DVD player. Anyone know what the hell is going on?
Sounds stupid but I would double check the A/V cables on the DVD player and where they go in to the TV. If it works on the laptop and not on the DVD player I can't think of another explanation. Maybe the wire is a little loose or something.
Personally, I would upgrade your burning software. I've never liked Roxio or Nero.
Since you're familiar with torrents, try to find a recent edition of Ulead DVD MovieFactory. Very easy to use, just put in pretty much any type of video file and it converts and burns it all on its own.
Sometimes it takes a crazy person to see the truth. If so, I'm a freaking lunatic.
