Who will be better in the long term?

Postby stumpak » Sat Aug 11, 2007 7:57 am

Butler or kendrick? Each seems to have their advantages - Butler looks like a can't-miss guy with the bat and Kendrick plays a scarce positions and is a 5-cat guy. My concern with each is that Butler may be destined to DH-hood while Kendrick has had some injuries.

What about next season? I would expect each to play full-time.

Thoughts?

Butler, I take a (good) Travis Hafner or David Ortiz over a Chase Utley anytime.
