ESPN player rater

Postby labardo31 » Fri Aug 10, 2007 7:07 pm

Does anyone know exactly how the ESPN player rater works?

For example,

- Matt Holliday is the number 1 ranked offensive player with 36.5 overall points.
- Jake Peavy is the number 1 ranked pitcher with 26.8 points.

How does ESPN determine these points?

I'm trying to use this ranking system to justify a few trades of my own as well as use them in trade reviews.

Cheers.
