Worth a pickup in keeper leagues? It seems like it.

he's been called up and is starting in the outfield tonight for St. Louis.

He might provide some pop but will probably hurt your avg. I don't know what he's keeper worthy, especially compared to the other minor leaguers who have been brought up this year.
When you are a man, sometimes you wear stretchy pants in your room...is for fun.

Yeah that's funny because they added a lot of players earlier this year long before they ever appeared on a major league roster. Names line Lincecum, Gallardo, Bailey, etc. All were in Yahoo long before they got called up. Not sure what yahoo's problem is now. I don't J Upton wasn't available until after he played either. I'd be nice if Yahoo showed some consistancy.

It would have to be a really really deep league to make him worth a keeper pick-up I think.

I'm wondering if he's worth a shot for those of us mired in a batting drought. I've got three hitters in mega-slumps and another four in just regular slumps, one more in a mini-slump. :-?

I need power and am planning on submitting a waiver claim for him. I've got Chris Duncan and he is so frustrating since LaRussa won't play him against lefties. So, right now I am platooning Duncan and Spilborghs.

I think Ankiel should show some pop the rest of the way, but like everyone else prolly will not hit for a high avg. I guess he can be considered Adam Dunn Jr. for now.

My biggest question though is how much playing time will he recieve? I believe he is out of options right? I'd like to see him steal some time from Edmonds and Encarncion.

Another HR for him Today.I'm dropping Duncan for him, when he is eligable to be picked up off waivers on ESPN on Tues..I've seen stranger things happen in Sports.

Ankiel once a Stud pitching prospect, to an Above average hitter with Power is amazing IMO.I dought he keeps it up.But it's worth a flier on him.Who Knows,He's a Great athelete. But NO BO Jackson !!!!!!
