Probably b/c they are absolutely lighting up the Brewers (and Gallardo), to the tune of 11-0 after 3. Guess I have absolutely no chance in ERA and WHIP this week.

Because Gallardo was getting shelled like he was facing the april version of ARod every AB and they wanted to rest him, would be my guess.

I would assume this to be the case as well especially since he did not come out while on defense. The third inning is still early to pull starters no matter what the score though.

I am not complaining by any means as my opponent started Gallardo, but what is the logic of leaving Gallardo in for the 3rd inning too? He was already getting shelled in the 2nd.

He's young, they probably figured since the game was probably already out of reach (it was 8-0 after 2), they would see if he could calm down and recover. He clearly wasn't able to, and gave up 3 more and a couple more baserunners.

probably friday...even if he was fine on thursday, it was lefty ted lily so it made sense to sit him.
