Moyer is in his 40's and in the twilight of his career.

Piniero is clearly the best here but how much more will he continue to improve?

Meche's are is going to fall off...but he could be good in a few years, the guy missed 2 full season's.

Garcia...LOL...supposed to be the M's #1...now looks like he could loose his spot w/ another bad season.

Franklin...Might actually be the best #5 in the game. Underrated but strikes out no one.

The Mariners are more in the 7-10 range.

I'm sorry...i'd take Curt Schilling and Pedro Martinez any day over Mark Prior and Kerry Wood.

That's not even close.

I would rather have Pedro and Schilling

Based on the future I would rather have Prior and wood

Prior and Wood both prooved last year they could pitch in the post season. First they took down the Braves amazing offense then they took the marlins to the limit.

Rember Wood's 7.30 ERA in the NLCS? I do.

You can base it on whatever years you want...going into this season there is not a better one-two punch than Schill and Pedro. Again, not even close.

Prior is obviously the real deal and rates right up there with Schill and Pedro (if not better).

But i'm sorry to break it you ya, Kerry Wood is no where near that class. He just doesn't have the consistency from start to start. He'll throw a shutout with 15k's one day and then get rocked for 10 runs over a couple of innings the next.

No thanks...i'll take a couple of pitchers that will dominate the hitters night in and night out.

fine so Wood blew up in the ALCS. Whatever I don't care.

Wood & Prior this year & in the future for me. Wood is just entering his prime and Prior has just begun.

so ya its a toss up but the younger duo intrigues me to take them over the senior team of schil & Pedro. Guarenteed Pedro hits the DL, he isnt wut he use to be but is still a top 3 SP. Schilling should return to form.

Like I said Wood & Prior wins are going to go up w/ the improved bullpen and offense.
