I may be biased, but I'd take Wright every single time. He's a legit 30/30 threat year in and year out, and while Braun may prove himself to be just as capable, or even more so, his 3 months of amazing numbers aren't enough to make me chose him over Wright.
As sweet as it is having Braun right now, I think he's going to be drafted way to early next year. To take a guy coming off his rookie season with an average BB/K rate and high BABIP in the 3rd/4th round is just to risky for me. Pitchers could figure something out over the off season and he could struggle to adjust, as often happens in sophomore campaigns. However this is Ryan Braun we're talking about and he is other worldly so these things may not affect him.
Wright goes first. This is a proven stud we are talking about. He has been very consistent over the past 2-3 years and he is a more well rounded player than Braun. That doesn't mean that Braun isn't good and could over take Wright at some point but right now you have to be pretty foolish to take Braun over Wright in any format.

I always wondered if the people who actually vote for the other candidate in landslide votes like this are actually serious, or if they are just are doing it out of immaturity, because they seemingly never defend their choice.
So any of you who voted for Braun, care to share your thoughts?
I agree with everyone so far, Wright is the choice and it's not that close. But what if Braun does this for the rest of the season? I think that would be a poll closer to 40/60.

I have Ryan Braun and he's playing insanely good, so I voted for him. The logical, impartial guy in me probably agrees with you, though.
