Lineup question

If Baldelli were playing every day, what would the first half of lineup usually look like? (I drafted three Rays this year (Young & Baldelli in like the 5th and 6th rounds I think, and Upton) and am disappointed those guys never got to play at length together...)

Really a tough question with someone like Maddon as the manager. Maddon goes against the grain quite a bit with his lineups and shoots from the hip quite a bit.


My personal favorite lineup with the 8 players now and Baldelli at DH instead of Gomes would look something like this.

Young
Pena
Baldelli
Iwamura
Harris
Wilson
Navarro

I honestly don't think Maddon would do this lineup though and his would look more like this

I think you switch Baldelli and Upton on your second lineup and that would be the lineup. There is no way they move Upton from the 3 hole with the way he is swinging the bat

Rocco Update:

He is doing better, he will beging a rehab stint in about a week to a week in a half and they hope o have him back in September when the rosters expand

Maybe he ends this year like he ended last year. But still we got to get more out of Baldelli then just 2 months of ball a year.
