It is really hard to say that Kinsler would have done 30/30 or whatever especially when you factor in that he could have slumped the whole time he was injured. Maybe getting injured was the best thing for Kinsler, he got some rest and is now fresher than he would have been had he not gotten hurt. Though Kinsler remains a quality 2B guy and I would draft him, but he has to be behind Phillips because A. Phillips has gone 30/30 (well I project he will anyways he had a nice year), B. Kinsler would be a higher injury risk than Phillips.
Though Kinsler is a guy to get next and I assume the injury will deflate his value just enough to make him a good buy.

It was never my contention that Kinsler should be drafted ahead of Phillips. I was merely stating that I thought Kinsler deserves to be mentioned as a top 5 second baseman. In fact, according to the player rater at alltimebaseball.net, Kinsler has already reached the top 5 (despite his injury).
Just to give some of you guys an idea, I am strongly considering keeping Upton as my 6th and final keeper. My rough keeper ranking today: Pujols Santana Holliday Rollins Braun Upton --------- CC Phillips Hamels Granderson Hunter Hart Kazmir Atkins Escobar Sheets

I can see that, Upton should have a nice future. I like quite a few of those guys, very easy to come away with a nice #6 keeper there.

Wow. You have some tough choices to make. Is "CC" Sabathia or Crawford? I might consider keeping Phillips or Hamels (or Crawford - if that's who "CC" is) over Upton, especially since Upton will eventually lose his 2B eligibility. I don't know though...

Sabathia... I would keep him over Phillips and Hamels pretty easily right now. I have a feeling that Upton is going to be a stud regardless of where he plays. Plus OF is pretty shallow too when you consider most leagues start 3-5.

I'm in the same boat as Yoda re Upton. We keep five and my "locks" for 4 of them are:
Holliday Carlos Lee Fielder Crawford
For the 5th keeper, I was originally planning on keeping Hamels but obviously his injury scares me. (I kept Carpenter last year and he bent me over.) I think the man now is Upton. He's putting up some pretty sick numbers for 2B in an injury-shortened season at a young age. Like Hanley, he's a tall guy (6-3) and I think he's growing into his power. He might make a run at 30 HR this year in reduced at-bats.
I am the Master. Don't question the Master. Just do what he says and be proud.
Congrats to Brandon Phillips aw he isn't going to read this, congrats to Brandon Phillips owners on his 30=30 season. What a steal he was this year. He won't come so cheap next year though.
