The above poster covered the correction on this, but I couldn'y help but laugh at the put down for assignment phrase... makes it sound like he's a dog being put to rest.

Myers struck out the side last night, gave up one grounder base hit, and got the save. Looked real sharp, like his pitches were right where he wanted them. First pitch curve balls for strikes. He was pretty pumped.

Myers is struggling tonight... came into a tie game, has already given up two runs. He's still the closer though by a safe margin. They can't make him a setup man....

Yeah I don't like the odds on that, especially since Brett "ME ME ME" MyErs wants to stay in the bullpen and the phillies management is crazy enough to listen to him.
