yeah, I'm pretty much a Yankee-hater but that K/9 is mind-boggling.

this year he will remain a reliever and it has been said that torre doesnt want to overuse him in the bullpen even tho he may wind up being the best bridge to rivera. out of the bullpen he looked absolutly nasty. he never missed with his fastball in the middle of the plate, he was on the corners both innings. he was also willing to use his slider on pitcher counts with great effectiveness. if your in a keeper league it would be foolish not to pick him up because he has great stuff and a solid attitude

he doesn't have much value yet as a fantasy pitcher, but his stuff looked NASTY yesterday. his breaking ball is very tight and has great movement. i can see why he has such wicked K/9 stats. i am going to monitor how torre uses him and if i can vulcher some wins with those K/9 numbers, he could be an asset.

Fricking A. He's been up for a few days now and Yahoo STILL hasn't added him.

So he'll be another SP/RP option for us to use, right?

I'm in a AL-only league that rewards holds....would people drop Santiago Casilla of Oakland for Chamberlain? Casilla has been a holds monster and in June thru mid-July was near unhittable. He is still getting the holds but has been getting hit so I need to know if I should drop Casilla and use a waiver on Chamberlain.
