Which players from the 2007 draft would be the best to pick-up now in keeper leagues based on both talent and ETA into the big leagues. I would think David Price would be at the top of the list. Who are some of the others? I guess I'm looking for ones that could be called up by the end of 2008 (if not sooner.) Thanks.
Matt Wieters, if he does sign, should be a decent enough catcher to stick at C. Great bat. Daniel Moskos, a decent to better RP if your league is deep enough that those are in demand. Casey Weathers, see Moskos
I want to say Detwiler but he's got some work to do before he can be called up. He's more of a upside college pick.
This draft is deep in HS arms, not so much college arms like last year.

Rick Porcello is one of the most highly-touted prep SPs since Josh Beckett, so he's probably a good guy to check out, assuming he signs with the Tigers.
Josh Vitters, Michael Moustakas, and Jason Heyward are probably the top three prep bats and all have loads of potential. I would rank them Heyward, Vitters, Moose, but they are all pretty close; it'd be nice to see them get in a month or so in rookie league ball to see what they can do.

Well, he said he wants them up by 2008...I don't think any prep guy will, maybe Porcello.

Missed that part. I don't expect any of those guys to be up in 2008, and I'd think there's no way Porcello would be up by 2008; maybe for September.

Just saying I think Porcello is the fastest moving of those guys.
