the guy had a couple of good starts last year before he got hurt. after that, he sucked. the mets are trying to build him up as a possible middle of the rotation guy, but i dont see it. i wouldnt touch him in a mixed league, but he could be worth a flyer late in an NL only draft. you can do better.

Ok, now for a real answer...got this from Sportsline:

One of the Mets' few pleasant surprises last season, Seo established himself as a solid big-league starter by recording a 3.82 ERA in 31 starts as a rookie. The right-hander's command of his pitches helped him get off to a hot start, and after a midseason swoon, he made the necessary adjustments to stay one step ahead of hitters. Seo seemed to gain some velocity on his fastball, and concentrated more on overpowering hitters than painting the corners down the stretch. He posted a 1.71 ERA in five September starts, which might translate into a strong sophomore campaign. Seo's stamina should improve with a year's experience, and he's worth using to round out an NL-only pitching staff. (Updated 1/17/04)

Hope that helps!

Oops, forgot to log in, sorry.

Yeah, Seo seems like the kind of guy that would go undrafted...but would likely get picked up on waivers at some point in the season.

Seo posted better numbers last year then the mets expected. He has been working with pitching coach Rick Peterson the same guy who worked with Zito,Hudson and Mulder.

I think he should get 10-13 wins with a high 3 or mid 4 era. I definately see him improving from last year.

He is someone I will be watching at the beginning of the year if he is still available but would not waste a draft pick on him.

There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.
