ESPN's Who's Now

Anyone else think that ESPN 's Who's Now series was the biggest waste of airtime in the history of television. I know that I immediately went for the remote when that segment came on.

A total waste of time. Why would I want to hear what Kevin James has to say about LeBron James? Don't they have analysts to tell me about that? The whole "Now" thing came off as something MTV would do. Two to ESPN.

Question for anyone who watched the show... was it any different than any of the Battles we run here at the Cafe? Fundamentally, isn't that what the show was?

And if so, how can they be dumb enough not to know that a concept like that doesn't translate well from a forum (where they stole the idea from, obviously, the spies) to "major" cable television?
