How many billion people are on this earth already living below the poverty line? Not to mention the fact their kids must be attention deprived. Somebody needs to send them a "Just stop. Seriously."
I also take issue with the religions of many of these people telling them that they are supposed to breed as many children as possible to grow the religion. I'm not going to argue the religious implications of birth control, but show some restraint, or do it in the butt, or something.
I would echo Art's sentiment too, but then I realize some people, whether it be socioeconomic status or the cultural beliefs, aren't either aware of or don't believe in some form of contraception. Quite frankly, a good deal of people just have sex at the heat of the moment to fight off boredom. I'm all for the practice of having children responsibly, actually giving it some thought especially when it comes to the financial situation, on an individual front and a societal front, but different cultures/subcultures have a different perception of what constitutes what I call responsible parenting.
