RJ will win 300.

Moyer, Rogers, Schilling, Pedro, Smotlz, and Wakefield have no shot at three hundred.

Mussina (having his second above average ERA+ in the last five years) has an outside shot if he pitches into his mid 40s.

Pettitte has a minuscule chance at 300.

Nobody else is even worth mentioning yet.

EDIT: anyone else surprised that Flash Gordon has that many wins? He hasn't started a game since 1997...

Incidentally, I was playing with Baseball Reference's "neutralize stats" function, and if you adjust the whole league so that every team scored an average of 6.15 runs per game (2000 Rockies), 2000 Pedro still posts a line of 2.03/0.80/278 and his K's still double his hits allowed.

8-o

And yeah, I was really surprised at Flash's win count. He won 41 in relief between '98 and '08 and 97 as a starter between '89 and '97. They just kinda add up after a while, especially when you start full time at age 21.

41 of Gordon's wins came after '97. That's normal for a reliever. It's not that surprising considering he was starting in the 80s.
