It's good he's back. The line from today's game isn't that good, but thats to be expected on the first game back in so long. I was wondering if anybody watched the game and saw how he looked. Was his control/poise there?

yess he did look very poised and dignified although the reason he gave up a few exta runs than normal is because he got a lil carried away with that majo run support from the yankees today i believe they pounded in about 17 or 18 runs plus hughes got the win soo what more can u ask for with a few k's thrown in there as well??

despite the blowout, there was a brief moment midgame during which it was tied, and that's when they pulled hughes out. also no 5IP. no win.

Hughes didnt get the win, he only pitched 4 2/3 innings.

I didn't watch the game, but his line after 4 innings was something like 4 H, 1 BB, and only 2 ER, so he was fine until the 5th.
