probably not. He's been the same old Pujols over the past two months when, if the injury were really affecting him, you'd expect him to stay the same as he was to start the year or get worse.
I think his slow start was due to his team's weak performance. Albert has said he was trying too hard and swinging at pitches he normally wouldn't have swung at because he felt he had to step up since no one else was hitting.
