Suppan was pretty good for the Pirates, but miserable for the Red Sox. What are your thoughts and projections for him this year as the #3 for the Cards?
Worth a flyer??

He's at least worth a flier in my opinion with the good defense behind him and a solid offense.
But then again i'm a Cardinal fan, so maybe you shouldn't trust my opinion on this one! Hehe.

He's a guy who's put together one respectable 3 month stretch in an 8 year career. Even within that stretch his fantasy numbers weren't terribly worhtwhile. I'd take a pass.
But then again, I'm a bitter Sox fan.

i am not too craxy about him. i dont think i would draft him but that kind of depends on how many teams are in the league and that kind of stuff. if he ends up doing well during the season then i would pick him up if he is available but he could very well end up being like tomko was last year. by the way, from the way some of the cards are talking about carpenter it seems as though he might be the number three and suppan the number four starter.
