Renteria injury?

He sprained his ankle in last night's game. Does anyone have any more information about how long he might be out?

What?? Oh god dammit...I got Renteria, Victorino, and Saito in a trade a couple weeks back, and all three of them have now been injured at some point...please anyone have info on Renteria? Yahoo isn't saying anything...

Rotoworld reporting the Braves 15-day DL'd him. i hope its just for the 15 days...or at least have news come out soon how long it will be for.

did a little more digging...its the dreaded "High ankle sprain" & Bobby Cox is quoted as saying he may need more than the 15 days to heal.



i know in football guys are crippled for 4-6 weeks with high ankle sprains...man, ive now got 3 guys on DL with unknown return times (Rent, Pence, kendrick)...but thinking they may all be droppable with the little time we have left in fantasy.

Yeah now things aren't looking so great. I was on pace to first place from 2nd place and now I'm tied 4-4 with the first place team this week. I've lost Pence and Renteria, ugh. I picked up Brendan Harris from the D-Rays, another option might be Yunel Escobar.

It is Yunel Escobar time in Hotlanta....I read somewhere that he's like a Freddy Sanchez, little power but he hits for a great average. He's been hitting pretty well as of late, has great position eligibility, at least in Yahoo (2b, ss, 3b), and is available in almost all leagues right now. He was also a 2nd round pick so he's gotta be decent.
