I am the Commish of a league that has been going for 6 years now. Up until now, we have not had values on players or caps on teams. We have a maximum amount of players on a team and 2 years ago we started allowing 15 keepers. You could keep any 15 off your roster. This cut down on amount of time it took to draft and let us build a little with our teams from year to year. We start 2 players at each infield position, 5 outfielders, 1 DH, 6 Starting pitchers and 3 Relief pitchers. Wealso have a bench of 8 players and 1 DL spot. We have recently voted to turn our league into a league where players are designated values and teams will then have a sallarie cap. We want to still have some keepers into next year. We use CBS Sportsline and they have a system for keeping track of these things, although I think I might have to punch in all of the sallaries (UGH!). I need some advice on what is the best way to transform our league for next year into this salaries and cap type league, without a redraft? What values do we use? What would be a fair Cap per team? Please help!!!!!
