http://www.usatoday.com/sports/baseball ... oted_N.htmHe probably makes an ok buy low for keepers because he was mashing the ball before his wrist started acting up and after the surgery they said the wrist might bother him for up to a full year afterwards.

What a disaster season once again for Weeks. He is still talented but the injuries are killing his development. I hope that he can remain healthy next year and start playing like he should be.

Maybe while he's rehabbing he can learn to throw to first?
One of my bigger leagues is a 6x6 that includes fielding% and his errors make him basically unplayable for me.

I agree with this. A wrist injury was just about the worst thing that could happen to a guy like Weeks. It changed his physical and mental approach at the plate. He became hesitant to rip his wrists through the zone, and like Sheffield, that's where his power is derived from. I'm guessing (just guessing) that he'll be back Sept 1st (at the latest) when rosters expand, if for no other reason than his speed. Hopefully he relaxes in AAA and finds his hitting stroke.

Weeks has looked lost at the plate the entire season. Its tough to do knowing that you will have to play Graffanino and Counsell there for a while, but it was something Weeks needed.

Thankfully both men have some redeeming qualities, which is why the Brewers really emphasized depth this offseason. Counsell has a solid .352 OBP and plays very good defense, and Graffanino has hit .283/.364/.566 (.930) since June 1st while playing above average defense. Really, they've both been better than Weeks, although neither can replace his speed. But when is Weeks is playing well, he's light years beyond those two, so he needs to find himself, and quickly.
