I think it effects a few players but look how many people it didn't happen to.
I just can't believe it. Vladimir, a professional baseball player in the Major Leagues for the past 10 years, takes part in an exhibition in which he KNOWINGLY is changing his swing to hit more home runs, can't change it back to his regular swing after? He's been using the same mechanics for his whole life, and one night of big swings is supposed to screw that up? I just don't but it.
I think it might have to do with his wrist which was HBP earlier in the season and he missed a weeks times healing it. He knows that his team can't be without him for an extended period of time and still win ball games, so he had to someone play through it. One of his 2 HR that he has hit in the past 47 games was a complete meatball also. So he has hit 1 good pitch out for a HR in his past 47 games. To me that's not a healthy Vlad.
