He is simply great against RHP if you can make the platoon situation fit your roster: .310/.406/.534 against righties. Given the OF eligibility, he's hardly a bad emergency fill in at that position either if he's facing a RHP. The sad thing is that the Braves face two more LHP this week: today and Friday.

I don't know if I'm convinced that Yunel Escobar will maintain his side of the platoon situation so I'm modestly hopeful that KJ might see more AB's later on. I'm still annoyed that the Braves didn't give KJ more time to work his way out of the problems he had in May/June, but it's hard to argue with Bobby Cox's decision given how well the platoon has worked and that the Braves are still in the race.
